NOTE:ÌýAs of April 2021, theÌýDepartment of Applied Mathematics has decided to permanently remove the GRE test (both general and subject) from our Ph.D. and Professional MS program applications.​

*Students who apply in a timely fashion will be given priority consideration for admittance. **The statement should be written in essay form and provide relevant educational, work history and background information, such as how you became interested in the field of applied mathematics and how your background has prepared you for graduate study, as well as your educational and professional goals. While a résumé may is strongly encouraged, it does not suffice as a personal statement.
