The AMRC houses the region's largest repository ofÌýarchival music materials with particular collection strengths in the music of Colorado and the American West,ÌýAmerican popular song,Ìýthe swing and silent film eras,Ìýand TV and radio.ÌýThe core collection was assembledÌýby Sister Mary Dominic Ray at Dominican College in California in 1967 and purchased by the University of ColoradoÌýinÌý1989.Ìý
